Provide Training and Assistance

A key goal of the Center is to be a valuable resource for supporting and training current and future justice researchers, policymakers, and practitioners on real-world problems.  To this end, CJLM has helped conduct training on risk assessment and management to over a thousand emergency responders at all levels of government across the nation for the Department of Homeland Security.  CJLM members routinely assist agencies in a wide range of justice and security settings.  CJLM has also sponsored, supervised, and supported three postdoctoral Fulbright fellows from Israel, England, and Pakistan and has supported and trained a large number of graduate research assistants through externally and internally funded research.
